ISM 11.2 released with powerful new features

The new 11.2 release of ISM, the IT-Service-Management solution by certex was released lately. ISM is an integrated solution that helps you covering a multitude of topics related to IT-Service-Management:

• Service Catalogue Management (including a self-service shopping system)
• Financial Management (for internal charging / reimbursement)
• Service Lifecycle Management
• Access Management

ISM even offers you an integrated Identity & Access Manager. With this combination of Service Catalogue and Identity & Access Management, ISM gives you a unique possibility to integrate two data sets that belong together on a logical level: the IT portfolio of an organization (as presented in the Service Catalogue) and the assignment of IT services to users of the organization, as well as their identities and access rights in the underlying systems.

Using ISM as your integration platform, it is even possible to integrate existing ITSM tools, for example for Incident / Problem / Change or Configuration Management. This integration takes place on the data level, hidden from the user, as well as in a 100% transparent manner on the user’s interface. This is possible through leverage of the ISM Workflow Foundation and the ISM Connector Architecture.

Certex releases ISM 11.1

certex recently released the first version of ISM in the year 2011. ISM – an acronym for Integration Service Management Solution – offers organizations an integrated system to optimize and automate their processes in the area of Service Catalog Management, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Request Fulfillment, Financial Management and other areas of IT Service Management.

With ISM 11.1 our customers can expect many improvements in the Financial Management system as well as in the ISM Connector architecture. The ISM-CA is the base for integration of applications and systems into ISM for various purposes ranging from Service Catalogue Management to Identity & Access Management.

Existing ISM customers can get additional information from the release bulletin. With your access information you can download ISM 11.1 from the Certex Customer Portal starting from Feb. 9th 2011.

ISM Tech/Sales workshop with FLS on Jan. 20th 2010

certex Information Technology GmbH and FRANK Linux Systems reach closure on sales agreement

Certex Information Technology, vendor of IT-Service-Management solution ISM and FRANK Linux Systems, Value Added Distributor have agreed on an extensive sales agreement. Starting from December, FLS will be authorized to sell certex products and services to resellers in Austria and Europe.
